    Hello,
I did not realize that a ticket of mine automatically closed and the issue is still ongoing and has not been resolved. It is ticket #1027234. I have done everything suggested.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the ongoing issue you’re facing with redirections in Google Search Console. It can be frustrating when these problems persist despite following the suggested steps.

To help you further, we recommend checking the following:

    1. Ensure that you have the latest version of Rank Math installed, as older versions may have unresolved issues.
    2. Review your redirection settings in Rank Math to confirm they are configured correctly. You can refer to our guide on solving redirection issues for more detailed instructions.
    3. If you are still experiencing issues, please reply to your ticket with any specific error messages or details about your site configuration, including your site URL, so that a human agent can assist you more effectively.

Thank you for your patience, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention!

See previous ticket as listed above for more details.

I’m having issues with many things for some reason. I have watched several of your youtube videos and done everything as described. I’ve submitted several tickets about these issue, but they keep happening and there is no resolution. Currently my fixes for redirection, 404’s Crawled – currently not indexed and Alternate page with proper canonical tags are all not working. There must be something overall wrong for these to keep failing. You currently have access to my site through another ticket. Perhaps you can review all settings there and see what is causing this problem?

    Hello,

From your last ticket, you mentioned that the referring page is from a sitemap that does not exist.

If Google is finding the URLs that are no longer in your homepage or source code, then you can try removing the property from your Google Search Console and verifying it again:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/

Once done, submit your Rank Math sitemap:

    Looking forward to helping you.

Ok, I have done that. Noticed that a page was marked as Indexed before when no such page existed. The new connection shows only 6 pages (which is correct). However, it is showing all Page indexing issues as Not Started. How long does it take for these to start validating or do I need to manually do that? Will this also fix all of the other issues as stated above?

    Hello,

We’re glad to hear the correct number of pages is now showing. As for the indexing issues, it can take a few days for Google Search Console to begin validating and updating the status. In some cases, you may need to manually click “Validate Fix” in GSC to initiate the process.

While this should help with some of the issues, we’d also recommend checking your redirection and canonical settings again, just to ensure everything is in order. Please note that Rank Math automatically adds a self-referencing canonical URL to your page by default, so you should only enter a custom one if you want to reference a different webpage. Please refer to these guides: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-change-canonical-url/, https://rankmath.com/blog/canonical-urls/

We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.

    Thank you.

I updated everything, did as you said, deleted or redirected many pages per instructions on your site or Youtube videos. Ran the test again and failed the ‘Not found (404)’ and ‘Page with redirect’. I am positive these are set up properly and tested every single link to make sure. I do not know what is causing it to fail.

Also, my main Page Indexing page is still showing 7 pages as indexed. However on my Submitted Site maps page, I recently re0submitted the page and it has 6 pages indexed (which is the correct number). This was last updated and read 5 days ago with status: success so should have updated by now. The 7th extra page is a duplicate of my Home page: https://heronpondhideaway.com/home-2/ Is this a RankMath thing?

    Hello,

Rank Math does not duplicate your pages, nor does it make Google index them.

We can see that you have already created a 301 redirect from that URL to the homepage. Google should remove that page from its SERPs after it has recrawled your site. You can even remove this URL quickly by following this guide: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9689846?hl=en#zippy=%2Cclear-cached-url%2Ctemporarily-remove-url

Concerning the ‘Not found (404)’ and ‘Page with redirect’ errors, you can share screenshots or some of the affected URLs. Here’s our guide for those errors:
    – Not found (404): https://rankmath.com/kb/find-the-souce-of-404-errors/

    – Page With Redirect: https://rankmath.com/kb/page-with-redirect/

We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.

    Thank you.

Please read this entire thread and reference my previous ticket that accidentally closed with many examples that are still existing now. This has been on ongoing issue since I first created my site and implemented RankMath.

    Hello,

The Google Drive link you shared in the previous ticket is invalid, so we can’t see its content.

As for the affected URLs you shared previously, they are redirected properly and indexed on the SERP, so there’s no issue in terms of indexing. The issue is how Google reports it, and it seems it wasn’t updated properly on their end. In this case, it is safe to ignore this situation since your pages are visible on the SERP and we’ve already checked that the unwanted URL paths are no longer included in their referenced pages like your homepage.

You can also validate the affected links again and send us a full screenshot of the latest date Google last crawled it.

Lastly, if the reports are still inconsistent, you may also contact Google directly for further insights.

Looking forward to helping you on this one.
