Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
When you create redirections, they are usually stored in the database in a rank_math_redirections
table. Rank math does not automatically export you redirections to .htaccess. You can do this manually by the option provided in Rank math > Redirections:
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Hi,
thanks. So if I export them and add them to the htacess, do I need to delete them from Rank Math? And what option is better for page spee and performance?
Hello,
Yes, you would need to remove them from the Rank Math redirections list to avoid multiple redirections added on several places.
The best is the one using the .htaccess file since it is executed directly on the server executable (Apache) and it gives you more speed and performance.
The most comfortable is using Rank Math since it allows you to edit, deactivate, activate, change, debug them whenever you want with just a few clicks.
Looking forward to help you.
