  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Unfortunately, the Rank Math Redirection module doesn’t support yet redirecting URLs with query parameters. Our dev team is working on improving this module, and we would be adding some niceties in the future. You can keep a close eye on our changelog here to see when this is released: https://rankmath.com/changelog/

In the meantime, you may need to use .htaccess redirects or a separate plugin that allows this.

Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance.

Hello Miguel, thanks for your quick answer. I’ll definitely keep an eye on the changelog as I always do with all the new features you guys throw in with every new update.

I’m ok with using the .htaccess files to make redirection however I couldn’t manage to make it work so far. Would you have any advice / tips / guide or else that could help me with my specific case ( .php page / php queries ) ?

    Thanks !

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

You can check this link for examples how to redirect links with parameter.

In your case, it should be done like this (for products):

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule ^([^/d]+)/?$ product.php?id_product=$1 [QSA]

    I hope that helps.

Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.

    Hey Reinelle,
thanks for the link and heads up. I eventually ended up using this and tweaking it because I needed all url to be hard coded / redirected specificaly to one new matching url.

    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} id=3
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ /path-to-new-location/? [L,R=301]

    Thanks !
