Hello Team,
Even after providing a full functional redirection process, your redirection just messed up the entire site.
Not only ranking got dropped the, redirected page has been deindexed by google on both of the websites.
I do not understand why is there any need for the UTM function if your team don’t know how Googlebot sees them.Google indexed and got confused by the complex query string which lead to deindexing and manually penalizing my website and god knows how long it will take to fix it.
I redirected a 301 from an old domain to a new domains with similar URLs and similar content and gave google both URls to manually index by request indexing feature. Now it happened 2 days back, and since than the traffic and rank for the new website is going down and the page has been deindexed on both sites by google.
PS: If we websites owners already tracking our blogs directly realtime on Google search console and analytics, why is there need for UTM for small websites which you enabled by default.
(The 3 year old page has been deindexed just because of Rankmath’s redirection)
