Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support. We are sorry to hear that you are facing issues with redirections.
If you have created redirections but they are not working, there could be a few possible reasons and solutions. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
- We have compiled a number of common issues that can affect your Rank Math redirection, please follow this guild and see if any of the suggested solutions work for you.
- Check if the Rank Math redirections tables are created on your site. You can do this by going to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and clicking on the Recreate Missing Database Tables button. This will ensure that your redirections are stored properly in the database.
- Clear your site’s cache and browser’s cache. Sometimes, caching plugins or server-side caching can interfere with the redirection process and show you outdated or incorrect pages. You can try clearing your cache and refreshing your site to see if that helps.
- Use Rank Math’s debug redirection feature. This feature can help you find out which redirection rule is causing a certain page to redirect, especially if you have complex regex or multiple rules. You can enable this feature by going to Rank Math > General Settings > Redirections and toggling the Debug Redirections option. This will show you a debug message on the redirected page with the source and destination URLs and the rule ID. You can find more details on how to use this feature here: https://rankmath.com/kb/setting-up-redirections/#debugging-your-redirects.
If none of these steps work, please share your site URL and temporal WordPress login details in the sensitive data section so we can take a closer look.
We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. We are here to assist you.😊
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
I’m sorry to inform you that our plugin doesn’t support redirecting the URL from wp-content
directory. You will have to use .htaccess
rewrite rule or some other redirection plugin if you want to redirect such URLs. Here is a guide that can help with .htaccess redirects: https://wpscholar.com/blog/simple-redirects-with-htaccess/
You can edit your .htaccess
file from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Edit .htaccess: https://rankmath.com/kb/edit-htaccess/
Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you.
