    Hello,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

You can import that from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Import/Export.

    It is 100% safe 🙂

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    I did not see 🙂
    thank you

    Hello
I’m having trouble importing redirects from Yoast to Bionotizie.com

    http://prnt.sc/tkkmji

and I have lost all Yoast redirects

    how I can do now?

    Hi Sharki,

Please keep all other plugins disabled and then try again.

If that doesn’t work, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    hi
    nothing changes.
the problem is that now on yoast seo premium all the redirects that were there have been lost and nothing can be imported.

I think there are problems with 404 redirects too

    Hello,

Unfortunately given there are no redirections in Yoast then there is nothing Rank math can import. If you had created a back up in Yoast, you can activate and restore the back up then check if the redirects are restored.

You can also choose to ignore those and create new redirections using Rank math. Since you have the 404 monitor enabled, you should be able to easily monitor and redirect any 404 URLs.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    hello
as you know I cannot restore a backup after 3 weeks.
this is a problem caused by rankmath.

now the 404 monitor is not working properly, it is not detecting the 404

even redirection doesn’t always work well. sometimes when I delete a post it doesn’t propose to redirect.

    does redirection handle permalink changes?

    regards

    Hello,

Yes, redirection should be handling permalink changes. Is it a production site? If yes, could you set up a staging site so we can log in and work on it (changing settings, removing and adding posts…). That way we can try to find the issue and fix it without impacting your production site’s visitors.

    Looking forward to help you.

    HI
no I cannot setup a staging site.
I can launch now a backup and stop work on site for 2 days.
you can work tomorrow and friday all day. I have 2 different backup each night

check also second ticket for polylang issue.

    Hello,

I have checked the site. About the 404 errors not being logged, it is because you have set the default fallback redirection to the homepage, so instead of recording a 404 error, it redirects the URL to the homepage.

I switched it to the default 404 page and searched for a random URL and as you can see in the 404 Monitor log, it is now being detected.

About the other issue, I have checked it and most of the posts redirect fine when deleted or their permalinks are changed, but some of them not.

I checked why is it happening and it seems you have set up a really broad redirection, with a contain rule.

I have temporarily disabled it so you can see it is now working fine. My recommendation would be convert that rule to a Regex one that should work better.

    Looking forward to help you.

    Hi Alberto
    thank’s for your help.
then I cannot use multiple rediret rule or use rule like “contains, start, end”?
    are not regex them?

    Hello,

You can use those rules, but using “contain” is something dangerous since if your post has in the URL those words, it will be redirected even when it shouldn’t.

For example, you have a category called “news” but you have set a redirection to the home for every URL that contains “new”. Since “news” contains “new”, every post under the “news” category will be redirected to the home.

That is why I recommend you to use Regex over “contain” rule, because you have way more control over the pattern to match to redirect.

    Looking forward to help you.
