Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.
Could you please temporarily disable the Redirections module of Rank Math from your WordPress admin area > Dashboard, and see if that fixes the issue?
If the issue still persists, then please follow this troubleshooting guide to see if the redirection is caused by another plugin: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/
Please let us know how that goes.
Thank you.
Hi there.
I confirm that I disabled the REDIRECTIONS module from the DASHBOARD in RankMath and after that it works fine.
I also tried one day ago to deactivate RankMath and that also worked.
So it seems to be something related to RankMath.
By the way I take this opportunity to ask: how long do I have to keep the redirections once they are set up? I think I have them already there for at least a year and I don’t know when it is safe to deactivate some of them or where do I know which ones can be safely removed?
Best regards.
Hello,
To answer your question, it varies but you should ideally keep the 301 redirections enabled for 6 months or until you are getting 0 hits on it – whichever comes later.
Going back on the redirection loop issue, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your staging WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Thanks so 301 redirections for 6 months or… but where do I see the number of hits?
What about 401s?
I will now go ahead and add the sensitive data required, on my first POST here.
Thanks and best regards.
Hello,
This is something that we have detected recently due to a change we made to the redirection code in our plugin.
For now to fix the situation please add the following filter on your website:
add_filter( 'rank_math/woocommerce/product_redirection', '__return_false' );
Hope this helps solve your issue.
We appreciate your time and patience while we fix this situation.
Thanks.
Can you please be more specific? Where do I add that filter and how?
Shall I put it in the header or shall include it in the customizer in elementor?
Please tell me also or keep me updated so as to when you will have a fix to update to your latest plugin version.
Regards
