Redirecting Too Many Times (Google Search Console Error)

    I have links appearing on My Google search console for /Product/ categories.

    I don’t have WooCommerce etc. I am not sure where these links come from. However, the issue seems to be that I can’t redirect them to my homepage. I have it set so that all broken links direct to homepage, but these don’t redirect.

    This is causing me lots of errors in the Google Search Console, as there’s 12 of these (with the list growing daily)

    Can I have some assistance? Thanks

    I also note that the pages have ?=99999 after the URL?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    If you bought a domain that was used previously by another person, maybe they had those products and since they have still some pages linking to them, Google tries to find those pages on your website.

    The solution is easy, just redirect them with a 301 redirection to the homepage and in a few days/weeks, Google will remove those issues.

    You can create those redirections in Rank Math but Rank Math is not able (yet) to redirect URLs with query params (the ‘?’) so to redirect those URLs you will need to use another plugin that supports it, for example, this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/
