Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please note that Rank Math redirection doesn’t handle this kind of redirection. In order to redirect from your non-trailing slash URL to a trailing slash URL, you’ll have to use the .htaccess: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-redirect-to-urls-with-trailing-slash/
However, we can see that now your non-trailing slash URL is successfully redirecting to your trailing slash URL and your trailing slash is also working properly. Please check the screenshot in the sensitive data section for your reference.
Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Dear
Thanks a lot for you feedback.
Because of SERP issue, I had deactivated redirection for that url. That why it was working. Sorry for that.
Now I have created another url (Please check from sensitive data) with 301 redirection.
I have already add such code in .htaccess for Force slash trailing. But Google Search Console still showing error “Alternate page with proper canonical tag”.
Please give me a proper guide to 301 redirect.
Hello,
Like my colleague said “Rank Math redirection doesn’t handle this kind of redirection”, could you please remove any such redirection rule associated to the page from the Rank Math redirections module.
If you have already added the code in .htaccess to Force slash trailing, then it should work fine and Google Serach Console will also forget about the page over time.
However please note that the existing data associated to the pages without the slash will remain there in Google Search Console as they cannot be removed.
If in case you are still facing issues with the redirect, even after adding the code in .htaccess file, then we might need to take a look at it.
For us to take a closer look at the settings and the rules. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
