  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing. Yes, it is possible to redirect part of a URL using Rank Math. You can achieve this by creating a regex redirection to remove the specific part of the URL structure.

To remove a certain part of your URLs, you would set up a redirection like this:

    1. Navigate to Redirections: Go to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Redirections.
      Navigate to Redirections

    2. Add a New Redirection: Click on the Add New button.
add new redirection in Rank Math

    3. Set Up the Regex Redirection:

      • In the Regex Source URL, enter:
        ^blog/TAXONOMY-OLD/(.*)
      • In the Destination URL, enter:
        /blog/$1
    4. Activate the Redirection: Make sure to set the status to Activate and then click the Add Redirection button.

This setup will redirect any URL that matches https://rankmath.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/remove-category-base-option.jpg tohttps://rankmath.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/remove-category-base-option.jpg effectively removing the TAXONOMY-OLD part from the URL.
