Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.
I’m assuming you’re removing the /index.php/ from your permalinks.
Normally, the old URLs should be redirected to the new structure after updating the permalinks. However, if that’s not the case on your site, you can add this regex redirect for your old URLs:
Source: index.php/(.*)
Destination: https://yourdomain.dk/$1
Please update the destination to your actual website name.
I hope that helps.
Thank you.
Thank you. So I am looking for a bit of guidance on that as I am going to change the slug of some of the pages… Would the right order be to change slug –> change permalink –> add above code or change permalink –> change slug –> add above code or a completely different way?
Hello,
The order doesn’t matter much in this case, as long as you add the redirection to the correct URL.
That is the most important step to make sure that the pages load correctly on the new permalink structure.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
