Hi I am still have the problem regarding redirect issue.

I have try different configuration, but the behavior of the site is bad.

I build the entire web site with the remove base category activated, so all my URL are without the category base.

So now if I deactivate the category base the URL contain “categoria-prodotto”. Some URL like https://vinadoo.com/enotecacattaneo/veneto/rossi-veneto/amarone/ is still working without the category base “categoria-prodotto”.

Another thing that happens is if you visit the URL above and than you try to visit this URL https://vinadoo.com/enotecacattaneo/champagne/ the first click you redirect to hp, but if refresh the URL it is working.

I have already test the website deactivating other plugins and keep only the RankMath active and the issue is present.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issues you are facing with the redirect behavior on your site. It sounds like there are a few complexities involved, especially since you’re working in a multisite environment and have the "Remove Category Base" feature activated.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the redirect issues:

    1. Check Redirects: Ensure that there are no conflicting redirects set up in Rank Math. You can do this by navigating to the Redirections section in Rank Math and reviewing any existing rules that might be affecting your URLs.

    2. Debugging: Utilize Rank Math’s Debug Redirection feature to diagnose the issue further. This can help identify if there are any unexpected redirects happening behind the scenes. You can find more information on how to use this feature here.

    3. Permalink Settings: Double-check your permalink settings in WordPress. Sometimes, simply re-saving your permalink structure can resolve issues related to URL handling.

    4. Caching Issues: Since you mentioned that refreshing the page sometimes resolves the issue, it could be related to caching. Ensure that any caching plugins or server-side caching are cleared after making changes to your redirects or permalink settings.

    5. Multisite Considerations: In a multisite setup, ensure that the settings for each site are correctly configured and that there are no overarching rules that might be affecting individual sites.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, we recommend replying to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can take a closer look at your specific configuration and provide more tailored assistance.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope to help you resolve it soon!
