Re-directing pages when domain changes

    Hi guys

Hoping you can help me answer whether rank math can handle the situation I have. I’m currently hosting a WP site for a client. The domain they’re using is held somewhere else and they are pointing to my IP address.

They now want to change to a new domain and I need to ensure that each page on the old domain (there’s only about 10) is 301 re-directed to the new domain.

Is that something the plug-in can handle?

Any assistance you can provide me on how best to handle this would be appreciated. I did review your documentation but couldn’t find anything that talked about this scenario.

    Kind regards,
    Jamie

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math.

It is not possible to redirect the domain using Rank Math.

For this kind of redirection, you will need to redirect the domain by editing the .htaccess file or using cPanel.

Here is a guide for your reference:

Please take a backup of your htaccess file before editing.

If you are not sure how to do it, you can get in touch with your web host and they can help you out with this.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.
