Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
I’ve checked your homepage, and all the data are still showing the cms.thefoxyhen.com subdomain.
Could you please check if you have already set your WordPress and Site Address URLs on your Dashboard > Settings > General?
I hope that helps.
Thank you, and looking forward to your update.
Hi Reinelle,
Thanks for your reply!
Unfortunately, the way our WordPress is set up, we can’t add our www domain to the Site Address (URL) field in your screenshot. We have advanced functionality in our www site that can’t live within the WordPress ecosystem. Hence, we take a scrape of all pages built in WordPress (cms.domain.com) and copy the exact code over to http://www.domain.com and inject our advanced functionality into those copied pages.
I’m wondering if there is a way to edit the URL in the structured data produced by RankMath to point to the http://www.domain.com instead of the cms.domain.com ?
Thanks,
Ally
Hello,
Our plugin takes the URL from calling the function home_url()
which retrieves the current website URL.
Because of this, it will always return the link where you have installed Rank Math.
To change the Schema outputted you need to resort to the following filter to find all instances of this and replace them with the appropriate base URL: https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#extend-json-ld-data
Hope this helps clarify your doubts.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
