Hi there,
having some issues where my sitemap can be read by Google SC, but with some errors.
When checking the sitemap I can see some elements like the below: (88 in total spread over several pages.)<image:loc>http://rgba(0,0,0,0)</image:loc>I’ve added the sitemap to the sensitiv data section.
Can you please help me out here?
Thanks and regards
Marcel

Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
I checked the sitemap on my end and it seems to be loading just fine. I also submitted it into an XML Sitemap validator and it doesn’t return any errors as well.
Could you please ensure that your sitemap is not cached by any of your caching plugins by following this guide? https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
After doing so, please remove all your sitemap/s from your GSC and submit only the primary sitemap generated by Rank Math (https://example.com/sitemap_index.xml).
If the issue persists, please share a screenshot of the error from your Google Search Console so we can further identify the issue.
Let us know how that goes. We are looking forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hi Jeremy,
many thanks for replying that quickly.
Caching is done by Hummingbird and the sitemap is already excluded.
As well the sitemap_index.xml is added to GSC.It’s showing success without errors, but when looking deeper into it the read-sitemaps status shows 88 errors in the page-sitemap.xml. The details showing are the ones mentioned above:
<image:loc>http://rgba(0,0,0,0)</image:loc>2 screens added to the sensitive data…
Thanks
MarcelHello,
Thank you for your reply.
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
It looks like you have Two-Factor authentication enabled on your website. Could you please consider disabling it temporarily so that we can troubleshoot the issue further?
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Good catch 🙂 2 FA is now temp disabled. Thanks
Hello,
We have seen this type of issue before and it happens when you are using the Blurb feature in Divi and uses a background image in the Blurb.
We recommend that you contact the Divi team and ask them if they have a solution for this where these BG images of blurps are not included in the sitemap. The functionality of Rank Math being able to see Divi images and adding them to the sitemap was added by the Divi team and that is why it is recommended that you contact them directly.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Okay, thanks. Seems to be a tricky one but I’ll try
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
Sure, please let us know how that goes.
In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you require any further assistance.
Thank you.
Hi there,
Divi support has confirmed that this seems to be a bug. They’ll pass it to the devs team for fixing. Unfortunately they did not come back with a timeline. Resolution is depending on workload and classification of severity.
For the wider audience:
site affected: https://10punkt.de
sitemap: https://10punkt0.de/page-sitemap.xml
Look to: view-source:https://10punkt0.de/page-sitemap.xmlIf you still see elements like: <image:loc>http://rgba(0,0,0,0)</image:loc> the issues is still present. If none are appearing it has been resolved by Divi.
Hello,
Thank you for sharing the details of this issue.
Let us also know how this goes with the Divi team. Meanwhile, you contact us anytime to assist you further with anything else.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
