Rankmath sitemap and search console

    Hi,

    If I have a the Search Console connected with Rankmath, is it normal that Google is showing me an empty page for sitemaps in the search console? Do I need to submit the sitemap to GSC even if the connection is made with Rankmath?

    I can see that the knowledge base indicates the following, but should it still show within the GSC?

    If you’re using the Analytics feature of Rank Math, Rank Math will automatically submit the sitemap to Google Search Console. You don’t need to manually submit your sitemap as we walked you through in the previous method.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    Rank math does submit your sitemap URL to the search console automatically if you’ve set up your GSC account and granted all necessary permission:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/submit-sitemap-to-google/#automatic

    If it’s not submitting, you may submit the sitemap manually to the search console by following the guide below:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/submit-sitemap-to-google/#manual

    Thank you Sakib, my question was more to know if GSC could have the sitemap from RankMath but not display it on the GSC front end (my screenshot)

    I have submitted the RankMath sitemap. However, something strange is happening.

    The GSC shows me errors on the post-sitemap: it shows URL that are not from my domain but from the Cloudways default application domain (https://snipboard.io/rOAuLk.jpg)

    However, by checking the sitemap, there is no such page (added the sitemap in the sensitive data)

    Why is that?

    Hello,

    I’ve checked your post sitemap, and indeed those URLs are not included.

    Could you please confirm if you have already removed your previous sitemaps submitted from that URL?

    To remove your sitemaps in your Google Search Console account, you will need to click the sitemap and you’ll see the 3 dots at the upper right corner of your screen

    Once done, you’ll need to resubmit your main sitemap /sitemap_index.xml and give Google some time to recrawl your site:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/submit-sitemap-to-google/
