I’ve been using Rankmath SEO for the past month, and it’s been working well for me. However, today, when I was uploading a blog on my WordPress site and analyzing the SEO with Rankmath, it showed me a lot of false information.

For example, when I produced a 900-word blog and submitted external and internal links, it displayed the red alert. Please assist.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Please share the affected URL so we can check the internal and external links.

Meanwhile, the internal and external links are counted only if they are inside the the_content section of the page.

Also, the links on any other part outside the the_content section are not counted. The link counter that shows in the pages’ backend only shows the number of links in the actual page content and excludes the footer, sidebar, and any other widgets.

    Looking forward to helping you.

I used to check my SEO score regularly on my WordPress website, where I have the Rank Math plugin installed. I was consistently achieving scores of 80 or above by evaluating elements like URL structure, keywords, internal links, and external links. However, when I revisited all of my previous posts and blogs, I noticed that they are now showing red signals with a score of 51.

    Hello,

To resolve this issue, please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools. Then, click on the button “Recalculate Score”, and wait for it to process.

    calculate

After that, check the post list page and the post and see if the SEO scores and other information are updated.

We hope that helps. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

Hello, I’ve tried it, and it is now in the WordPress dashboard showing me 90/100, but when I click on edit with Elementor and check the score, it still shows me as 51. How can I fix it?

    Kindly help me ASAP.

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

Updated, please give it a look, thanks.

    Hello,

We re-calculated the scores and we can see the scores on the WP dashboard now matches the scores inside the Elementor editor. Here’s a video screencast you may check: https://i.rankmath.com/v/iN1zAc

Let us know if you are still having issue with the scores on your end.

Hey, the problem is that when I click on the edit with elementor and see the score inside the elementor plugin, it is still different, and even though my content is 800 words long, it still shows that it is less than the 600 benchmark. And other red marks are still there in the SEO score; you can check it.

    Hello,

Rank Math is unable to detect content added in the Elementor Editor when the Optimized Markup feature of Elementor is enabled: https://i.rankmath.com/i/EoF0Q2.

There might be a bug in this feature, or we may need to find an alternative way to detect the content when it is active. We will reach out to the Elementor team, share our findings, and explore any possible solutions for detecting the content with this feature enabled.

Since this feature is still in the testing phase, we recommend setting it to inactive for now. That will resolve the issue.

    Hope that helps.

So, what should I do for now? Shall I deactivate the Optimized Markup feature? Or is there any other way?

    Hello,

Yes, please disable the Optimized Markup feature to fix the issue.

    Thank you.

    Okay, thanks

    Hello,
