  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing. Rank Math does not have a dedicated section specifically labeled as "crawl budget optimization" like Yoast. However, it does provide various settings that can help optimize how search engines crawl your site. For instance, you can configure the Advanced Robots Meta settings for your pages and posts, which can influence how search engines index your content.

You can also set options like Noindex for certain pages, which helps manage your crawl budget by preventing search engines from indexing less important pages.

For more detailed guidance on managing your SEO settings, you can refer to our documentation on Titles and Meta.

If you need further assistance or specific settings checked, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hello

Yes, it would be better to add these settings in future updates to the plugin so that less manual actions are required and also by customizing the site crawl budget settings, it will lead to an increase and improvement of the site.

No, the Rank Math plugin does **not** have dedicated settings specifically labeled for “crawl budget optimization” like Yoast Premium does. However, Rank Math offers tools that **indirectly help manage crawl budget**, such as:

    * **Noindex settings** for low-value pages (tags, archives, etc.)
    * **Robots meta control** per post/page/taxonomy
    * **Sitemap customization** to exclude unnecessary content

These features help reduce the number of URLs crawled by search engines, which can optimize crawl efficiency, but there’s **no centralized crawl budget section** like in Yoast Premium.

    Ok Very good

Does adding this feature to improve crawl budget from Yoast plugin to RankMeth plugin increase RankMeth’s features and wouldn’t it be better to add this feature to your plugin in future updates?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.

While Rank Math doesn’t include a crawl delay in the Robots.txt or have an option for it, we don’t actually advise setting a crawl delay for search engines.

Concerning your site’s crawl budget and frequency, the rate at which Google crawls and indexes your pages depends on a number of factors such as crawl rate, crawl budget, the authority of your website, the crawlability of your pages among other things. Please refer to the following guide for how to improve the crawlability and crawl rate of your website: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/crawling-indexability-improve-presence-google-5-steps/167266/

If you still want to include a crawl delay, you can modify the robots.txt.

You can check this guide to learn how to edit your robots.txt file using Rank Math: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-edit-robots-txt-with-rank-math/

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need my assistance with anything else.
