Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with the Schema markup in Rank Math. To change the Schema markup from Article to WebPage, you can follow these steps:
- Edit the Post/Page: Go to the post or page where you want to change the Schema.
- Schema Settings: In the Rank Math meta box, look for the Schema tab. Here, you should see the current Schema type set to Article.
- Change Schema Type: Select the Schema type as WebPage from the dropdown menu. If you do not see this option, ensure that you have the correct settings enabled in your Rank Math configuration.
- Save Changes: After selecting WebPage, make sure to save or update the post/page.
If you are still encountering issues where Google sees it as an Article despite changing it, it might be due to caching or indexing delays. You can try the following:
- Clear Cache: If you are using a caching plugin, clear your site cache and browser cache.
- Reindexing: Use Google Search Console to request reindexing of the updated page.
If deleting the schema does not work as expected, and you continue to see both Article and WebPage schemas, it may be necessary to check for any conflicting plugins or settings that could be affecting the Schema output.
For more detailed guidance on configuring Schema types, you can refer to our Schema Markup documentation.
Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope this helps resolve your issue!

I do not see Webpage in the options…..
Hello,
Please note that the WebPage and other default Schemas are added in the front end, they will not be visible in the Schema tab of our plugin’s meta box.
It is already added to your site automatically, so you won’t need to add them individually.
The webPage schema is nested under the Article schema (if you have added the Article schema on your page). You can use the following tool to check the Schemas: https://validator.schema.org/
Looking forward to helping you.
