    Rankmath REDIRECTION not working with any of my links. Link 1 should be redirected to Link 2, but it is not working.

    I’ve checked the link, and it is redirecting to your homepage.

    Could you please take a screenshot of the redirects you have created so we can check? You can use this tool and share the link in the sensitive data section

    Meanwhile, please check if this option is enabled in Rank Math > General Settings > Links

    Attachments

    If so, try disabling the option and check again if the issue persists.

    If it was fixed upon disabling that option, please check if you have an attachment with the same name as your URL. You can reupload the media with a different file name or at least rename the attachment URL to a different slug.

    Once done, re-enable the redirect attachment options again.

    The affected link is somehow redirected by another rule which is not coming from our plugin.

    1. Can you please check if there are other plugins or your currently active theme that might be causing this? To determine that, please refer to this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    2. If #1 is not working for you, please check any redirection rule in the .htaccess file of your website. You may check this with your hosting provider.

    If the issue persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    That redirection is getting triggered before reaching the WordPress installation meaning that is coming from the server.

    Since it never reaches the WordPress installation it’s not possible for our plugin to handle it.

    Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    In this case, you may need to get in touch with your web host to check your Nginx configuration as the redirection source URL does not reach the WordPress installation.

    This could be also related to your 404s getting redirected to your homepage.

    In this case, please contact your developer to check the issue as this unwanted redirection is not coming from our plugin or even from WordPress.

    Also, please provide the support you are connecting to with your working FTP login for them to ensure that the said IP addresses are whitelisted.
