I was able to replicate the issue here. Can you please confirm if the CPT “tours” is created by your theme?
You need to make sure that the CPT supports the editor block (Gutenberg/Classic editor) so Rank Math can read its content and displays the meta description in the preview.
With that said, the meta description is saved and rendered on the front end. It’s just that the preview is not shown.
