    Hello there,

Is there any options/functions where i can control which post should be used by indexification at the time of publishing or updating new article.

If we publish 10-15 posts per day, where we only want 1-3 to be used for indexification as pinging google via indexing api 10-15 times per day will lead to triggering spam algorithm which results in demoting posts on google search engine.

It would be great to see an check option in post editor wheter to use indexification or not.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support and we apologize for the inconvenience.

We’re assuming you’re referring to the Rank Math Instant Indexing feature, please correct us if that’s wrong.

We doubt you’ll be penalized for pinging the Google Indexing API 10-15 times daily. Google Indexing API usually has a quota for the number of times you can request indexing per day, the default is 200 per day, but this can vary from account to account. You can see your quota here.

However, we understand that you might want to have more control over which posts you want to submit to Google and which ones you don’t. But, unfortunately, we do not have a feature that lets you do that in the way you have described.

But another way to achieve this would be to turn off the automatic submission of posts to Google by going to WordPress > Rank Math > Instant Indexing > Google API Settings > Submit Posts to Google and deselecting all the post types. Then, you can manually submit the URLs that you want to index from WordPress > Rank Math > Instant Indexing > Console.

We hope this helps you out. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Thank you for choosing Rank Math!

Hoping to see that feature sometime soon aas its mandatory for small time bloggers.

    Hello,

That feature is currently not available in our plugin.

However, if it gets included in the plugin in the future, we’ll update our users through our usual communication channel.

You can also keep an eye on our changelog here: https://rankmath.com/changelog/

If you have any other concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime to assist you further.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
