Hi Support Team,
I’ve added the free RankMath plugin to my wordpress site: ecomhits.nl
I’ve also added all the settings in RankMath.
Now I would like and prefer to use Rankmath to optimize my SEO.
But I can’t save the keywords, snippet, etc.
I don’t know why?
Can someone please help me.
All the best,
Hank de Beer

Hello,
Thanks for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
Please refer to this tutorial guide for more details: https://rankmath.com/kb/meta-data-not-saving/
Please let us know how that goes.
Thank you.

Hello,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Upon checking your website I noticed that you are using Elementor as your page builder. Are you also doing the SEO modifications there? If that’s the case and you can’t see the update button turn green when only changing SEO data this is something our team is aware of and is investigating.
For now, as a workaround, do some minor changes in your page/post content, such as remove a comma and add it back in, to trigger the update button to turn green.
After that, you can make the SEO changes and then hit the update button to save them.
We appreciate your patience while we further debug the situation from our end.
If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Hi Miguel,
I have tried everything but it is impossible to save the SEO information.
Indeed I work with elementor to build my website.
If I perform the SEO in Elementor and I add a period or comma to save the content, I see the SEO increasing on the screen. The Rank Math score changes from 27/100 to 100/100 (Just go to my Homepage and check it yourself. I will add the needed information below)If I go back to WordPress from Elementor and want to update the content, it is already tolate, the added SEO content is already lost.
Also when I enter and update the SEO information directly on the WordPress page itself. Here I see the same SEO score in RankMath. (Again as an example the homepage). The score is 27/100. After filling in my SEO information, the score is increasing to 100/100. The moment to update. After updating I go back to my dashboard.
Here I check the pages in my dashboard. And all the added SEO information is constantly disappeared. So it’s not as simple as you say.
I hereby provide the SEO information for my homepage:
Title: (Ad the sentence below)
Zoek Vind en Koopjedeal | Voordeel Aanbiedingen | -90% DealsDescription: (Ad the sentence below)
koopjedeal, aanbiedingen, dagaanbiedingen, prijs, voordeelPlease try to add the title, description and keywords on my homepage. Try to add with the SEO function on Elementor and also try to add instantly on the wordpress homepage of my website. Update the site and check.
After that I would like to hear if it is working.
I hope you can fix this problem.
And if you succeed I will buy the pro version inmediately.
All the best,
Hank de Beer
Hello,
Thanks for getting back to us.
When I inspect your website even before I make any changes the score is already at 100. Check this screenshot:
I also noticed that you have the LiteSpeed Cache plugin installed on your website and that plugin is known for caching the backend of WordPress.
Could you try temporarily disable that plugin and then perform the SEO changes you want and see if that updates the result correctly?
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Hi Miguel,
You need to look at ECOMHITS.NL !
You are speaking about ECOMHITS.COM. I don’t have a problem overthere.
Please check the correct domain and website.
Go to the dashboard -> select ecomhits.NL -> and so on.
All the best,
Hank de Beer
Hi Miguel,
At the Bluehost Home Page You can select the right website.
You need to hit the arrow and scroll down to: Ecom Hits Zoek je deal.
After selecting that website you can hit the manage button.
And you will be logged in the right website: ecomhits.nlPlease follow the process I have send you before. Go to the homepage and add the SEO information etc.
All the best,
Hank de Beer
Hello,
I’m terribly sorry for the confusion.
I was able to login into the correct website now and detected the problem. The route that is used to save the metadata from Rank Math is getting a 403 error on your website.
The full route that returns this error is in the sensitive data section.
You need to edit your firewall settings on your server to allow that route to pass through so the data can be saved correctly.
Hope this helps solve your issue.
Dear Miguel,
I have contacted AVG Support and they have deleted all my security and reinstalled everything. I have tried to add the Seo information on all the ways. Also without any security by deinstalling the security and each time adding the information.
The conclusion from AVG and Bluehost support is that there must be a software issue on the Rankmath software.
So I don’t know anymore how to get rankmath running on my wordpress site ecomhits.nl
Maybe someone from your site can check it.
You have the password and username and I didn’t changed it.
Please inform me how to procede.
All the best,
Hank de Beer
Hello,
Thank you for the update, and apologies for the delay.
I’ve tried logging in to your Bluehost account, but it seems that the credentials you have provided are not working.
However, those errors usually are caused when something is blocking access to the WordPress API REST.
You may need to get in touch with your web host and check if something is blocking the WordPress API REST. Please also ask them to check the Firewall Settings and whitelist the
updateMeta
rule.I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.
