RankMath Deactivated Missing Plugin File

    Rank Math free

    Wordpress indicated that the Rank Math plugin needed updating. I ran update but it failed. Now Rank Math is not active.

    There is a message on the plugins screen “The plugin seo-by-rank-math/rank-math.php has been deactivated due to an error. Plugin file does not exist.”

    How can I resolve this?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    This problem normally results from an aborted download process and you can fix it by deleting the SEO by Rank Math plugin folder from the wp-content/plugins folder via FTP and then doing a fresh install of the plugin.
