Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with Rank Math not detecting your GA4 property. It sounds like you’ve already taken some good troubleshooting steps by clearing your cache and reconnecting.
Here are a few additional things you can check:
- Ensure Proper Permissions: Double-check that your Google account has the necessary permissions for the GA4 property. You should have at least "Editor" access to connect it with Rank Math.
- Correct Property Selection: When you click on "Select property," ensure that you are looking for properties that have the suffix
-GA4
to confirm they are indeed GA4 properties.
- Browser Issues: Sometimes, browser extensions or settings can interfere with connections. Try using a different browser or an incognito window to see if that resolves the issue.
- Plugin Conflicts: Ensure that there are no other plugins that might be conflicting with Rank Math’s ability to connect to Google Analytics.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket with your site URL, and a human agent from our support team will take over and assist you further. Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to helping you resolve this!
Hello,
Could you please confirm if you have already created a GA4 property for your website?
If not yet, please visit this page (https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/) and sign up for a Google Analytics account and property, then reconnect your Google Account so the new Analytics account will reflect in that section.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hi Reinelle!
Yes a GA4 property was already made, but the tool is not detecting it.
Thanks!
Regards,
Erika
Hello,
Please ensure that the email address you used to connect your Google Search is the same as the Google Analytics email.
If so, then please follow these steps to regenerate the token on your site:
1. Please delete RankMath’s app from here:
https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

2. Reconnect the account inside Rank Math by clicking here and ensure that you approve all the permission notices that show up:
WP Dashboard >> Rank Math >> General Settings >> Analytics tab, and click the Reconnect
link

Allow all the necessary permissions on the next screen

3. Let the process complete, which might take around 30 minutes to fetch the data.
Let us know how this goes.
Hi Reinelle!
Is there any way to do it without removing the access? I have multiple websites I connected to RankMath using my email and I can’t afford to remove them as it could stop their tracking.
Thanks!
Regards,
Erika
Hello,
We apologise for the delay in response.
We have seen some issues with connecting to Google Search Console and Analytics when there are multiple websites under the same Google account.
We recommend using multiple Google accounts for Search Console and Analytics when managing a large number of clients’ websites. This approach allows for more efficient organization and monitoring of each website’s performance, as well as clearer data separation for each client’s online presence.
Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Thank you.
