    Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.

Could you please confirm whether you have the Auto Post Redirect option enabled? You can access this option from your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > General Settings > Redirection.

WordPress by default redirects the old URL to the new one when the slug of the post is changed, however, if for some reason that is not working properly, then the Auto Post Redirect option can do the needful.

If the above option is not enabled, then please enable it and see if that fixes the issue.

Looking at the screenshot that you’ve shared, it seems like a redirection entry has been created in the redirection manager, could you please confirm if this redirection is created automatically, or you’ve created it?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thank you.

Auto redirection was on. It is default setting in your plugin.
I had create this direction. In this situation rankmath auto redirection didn’t work (I don’t why) so I did manually

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

I tested the URL using https://httpstatus.io/ and the X-Redirect-By directive is “WordPress”. If the redirection was processed from the redirection manager of Rank Math, then the X-Redirect-By directive would have been “Rank Math SEO”.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Please let us know how that goes.

    Thank you.

you say “WordPress by default redirects the old URL to the new one when the slug of the post is changed”
There is redirection feature in WordPress? why do 5 millions people install redirection plugin? if there was auto redirection in WordPress?

    Hello,

Thanks for getting back to us.

WordPress indeed redirects the post to the updated URL, but that doesn’t mean that WordPress provides full-fledged redirection options.

For example, if you want to redirect a post to another post or page, then this cannot be achieved with just WordPress. You would need additional redirection plugins to do this for you.

Similarly, redirection plugins like the Redirection Manager of Rank Math also come with bulk redirection options where you can redirect multiple posts/pages to the destination URL.

    Hope this clears things further.

    Thank you.

Please give some help to change “source code” of that page in database. to delete redirection created by wordpress.
my page is in google search result I dont want loose my ranking.
ps: I did a LOT redirection tasks by yoast redirection manager and redirection plugin and had experienced “ZERO” problem. I sorry for your product.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

As mentioned in one of my previous replies, it seems like a conflict with a plugin or the theme that you’re using. You can follow this troubleshooting guide to determine the conflicting plugin/theme: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

If that doesn’t help, then please head over to your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > General Settings > Links and temporarily disable the Redirect Attachments option and see if the URL is still redirecting to the homepage.

If you’re not sure, then we can test the issue further. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    it’s work
I disable the Redirect Attachments and work

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

In that case, it seems like you have an attachment with the same slug as the post.

The redirect attachment option will automatically have the media URLs prioritized over other similar URLs.

You can rename and reupload that image or try changing the slug of the post to make the redirection work.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.
