Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.
This issue occurs because the slug may not be fully saved in the database when Rank Math analyzes the permalink before publishing. Since WordPress can modify the final URL upon publishing, the focus keyword check might initially show red but later update correctly.
To resolve this without publishing the post you can try saving as Draft & Refresh – Sometimes, simply saving the post as a draft and refreshing the editor helps update the analysis.
