The edit snippet option affects the individual page you are editing. If you have enabled author archives in Rank math > Titles & Meta > Authors, then your site should be able to load author pages which should have the meta you have specified.
You can confirm if the correct meta is added by checking your user URL here: https://www.heymeta.com/

I am sorry i still dont understand what you meant.
I have entered my website, https://www.oyougu.com in https://www.heymeta.com/ and it have social card preview even though it i have yet to edit snippet.

I think there is nothing much for me to change there i suppose.. I saw my meta is alright…
