Hello,
Thank you for reaching out about the Index Status in Rank Math SEO. The “Unspecified” status in the Index Status tab means that the data related to those pages is not available to be shown. This status indicates that there might be some technical glitches or issues preventing Rank Math from retrieving the indexing information for those specific pages.
If you are seeing pages with “Unspecified” as the Indexing Allowed status, it could be due to various reasons such as temporary connectivity issues, server problems, or other technical factors hindering Rank Math from fetching the indexing data for those pages.
To address this issue and get a clearer understanding of why these pages are showing as “Unspecified,” you can try the following steps:
- Refresh Data: You can try refreshing the data in Rank Math to see if the status updates.
- Check Technical Aspects: Ensure that your website is technically sound and accessible for search engine crawlers.
- Review Server Logs: Check your server logs for any errors that might be affecting the indexing process.
- Contact Support: If the issue persists, you can contact our support team for further assistance.
If you need more detailed help or if the issue persists, please provide additional details or reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Best regards.

Hello,
The Unspecified (No data available)
status means that the data are not available. Sometimes due to some technical glitches, it happens.
It could be due to crawl budget issues, temporary crawl anomalies, or even just delays in Google’s indexing process.
It would be beneficial to directly inspect your Google Search Console’s Coverage report for specific reasons these pages are marked as “excluded.”
Additionally, consider manually requesting re-indexing via the URL Inspection tool in the Search Console for these pages.
Looking forward to helping you.
