    I did the seo score check and I see it says this:

    Keep your content fresh ?Checks for recent content updates using available signals (XML sitemap, og:updated_time, or Last-Modified header).
    How to fixNo content freshness information found (no XML sitemap lastmod, og:updated_time, or Last-Modified header).
    Keep your content updated. Use a CMS or plugin that automatically updates the XML sitemap or meta tags when you update your content, or configure your server to set the Last-Modified header correctly.

    My question is doesn’t Rankmath control this automatically?

    in the attached video under sitemap settings i do not see the option to turn on ping search engines

    Hello,

    Yes, Rank Math automatically includes the last modified date in your sitemap and the updated time meta tag. In case you’re facing any error, please share a screenshot of that so we can check the issue further for you.

    You can use any image-sharing tool like https://imgur.com/upload to share a screenshot with us.

    Also, please share the URL of your sitemap so that we can check this as well.

    Regarding the option to ping search engines, it is no longer used by Google, so we decided to remove it from our plugin as well. We’ll also update our videos soon.
