Rank Math Robot Meta Unchecks Indexing Option Automatically Under the ‘Advanced’ Tab
I keep getting a notification that my article has not been indexed. I have followed all the settings as per your website, and I double-check in the post itself to see if the checkbox for indexing is enabled under the “Advanced” tab. However, later I find that the checkbox has been unchecked again.
I’m frustrated with this issue. I switched from SEOPress Pro to Rank Math, and now I regret it because I have to keep checking and re-checking everything.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Can you please share the URL of the pages you are having this issue with so we can further assist you?
Several settings in WordPress and Rank Math control the indexing of posts and pages. You need to make sure that these settings are configured correctly.
To address this issue, we recommend checking the WordPress settings directly to ensure that the “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” option is unchecked. You can access this setting by navigating to Settings → Reading in your WordPress dashboard and ensuring that the checkbox is unchecked, as shown in the image below:
However, if the option is unchecked, and the notification is still showing, you can dismiss the notification by clicking the X
button.
If the notice still keeps showing, please head over to Rank Math> Status & Tools > Database Tools and from there remove Rank Math transients.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
