I created a contributors account for this client of mine to recreate the issue of contributors not saving meta data (admins have no problem)
So when I was creating a post with a contributor’s permission level, I saw these errors on my chrome dev tools console

Hello,
I created a temporary contributor user, created a draft post and submitted it for review. The keywords and meta description I added were not lost when I saved the post. I also checked the post using the admin account and all the saved data was there.
Do you mind sharing more details about issue you are facing? You can use a tool like imgbb.com for screenshots, or a tool like loom.com for screencasts and share the links in the sensitive data section.
