I have the same issue. Version 1.0.53.1 works fine but Version 1.0.54 causes problem.
Disable the plugin temporarily solves the issue.

Nope, refresh doesn’t help.
In classic editor I can’t switch between visual and text mode, my content is only visible if I mark it with the mouse. Editor Tools are disappeared.
Same issue here.
Anyway, I think it might have something to do with WYSIWYG editors. I’m using WPBakery Page Builder.

I’m still having this issue, even after the update they pushed out. I’m using PHP 7.4 and the only thing that has resolved it is rolling back to 1.0.53.1 as suggested by Anh Vu Viet.
I have some luck with the following workflow
1. Disable RankMath
2. Go back to the editor, confirm that it works
3. Update RankMath & Activate it again
