Rank Math not working when editing posts, pages, categories, and products

    I installed Rank math on my website https://magnetoinvestigators.com on which I was using Yoast SEO.
    At first it worked, in fact when i open Rank Math plugin menu for settings, those work perfectly. But the problem is with when am in pages, products, posts or even categories when trying to edit the meta sections, these snippets do not open at all currently.

    I have tried everything using the the guides you provide including the Troubleshooting, but i do not see the where the problem is coming from.

    I have updated PHP to 7.4, all plugins are up to date, all themes are up to date, but the issue is still irritating.

    The parts that are not opening include Rank Math SEO, Rank math Content AI… for Link Suggestion, that one is working.

    Kindly assist on this, I have attached the login details to the backend of the site.

    Meanwhile, Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    Hello,

    It seems like the Classic Editor and Classic Widgets plugin is conflicting with Rank Math. The SEO Meta Box is collapsed when this plugin is active.

    Please get in touch with the plugin support and inform them about the issue caused by their plugin. They should be able to fix it.

    Hello,
    Once again am still on the issue.

    Here is the scenario;

    1: you said the plugin is conflicted by Classic Editor, but this seems not to be the problem because I disabled all plugins while in the Troubleshoot mode and enabled only Rank Math, but the boxes were not opening at all.

    2: If a classic editor is a problem, why is it that the problem is also happening when trying to edit Categories? be it Product Categories or Post Categories, this problem still exists.

    Can you please assist on this?

    Hello,

    Your blog charset is currently UTF-7 and that is likely causing this issue on your website. This causes issues not only with Rank Math but also with default functions from WordPress such as the word count.

    Our recommendation is that you set the encoding as UTF-8 on your website to try and resolve the situation.

    If you have doubts about how to change this you should get in touch with your hosting provider as this would need to be changed in the database as well.

    My Charset is set to UTF8, but the issue is still active.

    I have confirmed that my database is set to Charset=UTF8.

    Hello,

    Your website has the option of UTF-7 in the options table of WordPress and this mismatch can cause issues like this.

    You need to do a full check of your website and check for any malware that might be installed and then proceed with changing the collation and charset and reload it on your database: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6115612/how-to-convert-an-entire-mysql-database-characterset-and-collation-to-utf-8

    Plus, make sure all the options are correctly updated for this charset on WordPress.

    Hi Miguel,

    I changed the UTF-7 to UTF-8 in the Options table, but that did not solve the issue.

    So here is what I did,

    Assuming you did not do anything on it because I saw one of your support was still logged into my dashboard.

    But I found out that the /PublicHtml/wp-config folder was missing permissions, so I had to correct that.

    My Rank Math is now back on.

    But thank you for the support.
