Rank Math not connecting to Google Search Console or Google Analytics

    Hello,

    After many failed attempts; changing the browser to Chrome, checking videos, Rank Math articles etc., the plug-in will not seem to connect to Google Search Console or Analytics through the setup wizard or otherwise.

    I’ve removed access to redo the wizard, left it for over an hour on some occasions and still nothing.

    I really would like to setup this plug-in if someone can take a look for me.

    I´m running Windows 10, Chrome Version 120.0.6099.71 (Official Build) (64-bit), allowing all cookies and trackers, that I know of and also with auto updates on Rank Math. It’s beyond me on what to do.

    Ok guys,

    Thanks for the patience also. I waited for the next site backup as they’re done weekly by the host.

    I’ve downloaded a .sql.gz and a .tar.gz site backup and database files as a precaution also and both suggested plugins are installed but not activated.

    I don’t want to do anything without further instruction to keep us on track.

    Another note is there seems to be some duplicate pages. I’m not sure as I’m new to WordPress and RankMath so let me know what to do next.

    Hello,

    To share the login link you need to enable both plugins and then create a new login link inside the temporary login plugin and share that with us in the sensitive data section.

    This way we can login safely to the website and share more details on the issue after debugging.

    Hello,

    We checked the website and we can see that the connection to both Google Search Console and Google Analytics is showing correctly under WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math SEO > General Settings > Analytics.

    There’s even some data already imported into the Analytics module:
    Analytics

    The missing tables that were mentioned in the error log are now created so you should also not see any more of those errors moving forward.

    Okay, amazing, thanks… I’m not sure what the tables are but seriously thanks!

    Just a quick one while I can ask easily: in the Rank Math Analytics Dashboard, it states that there are 59 post ranked poorly and 48 with no data. I’ve only published 3 posts. Is this an issue.

    Another thing please,

    An email arrived today stating:

    “WordPress has a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

    In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Rank Math SEO Debug.”

    If you know, what is this?

    Hello,

    The Rank Math SEO Debug plugin is used by the support team to debug Analytics issues and we usually uninstall it once we are done troubleshooting the issues.

    We can confirm that this plugin is not installed on your site at the moment so you have nothing to be worried about.

    So have you guys finished doing what you do and should I be concerned that the Rank Math Analytics tab seems to state that there are 110 extra posts on the site?

    Hello,

    Yes, sure. We only install the plugin when we want to debug an issue. The plugin is not on your site now, so you shouldn’t worry about that. Regarding the extra posts, you can try deleting your old data and starting a fresh import, here’s a guide.
