Could you confirm if you’ve added more than one focus keyword to the page? If yes, we also count the secondary focus keywords towards the keyword density and that might be the reason why you’re seeing a higher number there.
Please check if the primary, as well as the secondary focus keywords, combined, are appearing the number of times displayed in the Keyword Density test.
