    Hi,

    I have been speaking to my hosting guys today due to a spike in RAM usage. This was more noticeable today after your latest update. From about an average of 400kb the RAM shot up to about 1.8MB after your latest update. My RAM limit is 2GB, so this is a big concern.

    After rolling back to the previous version the RAM dropped to 8ookb which is still high, but shows that the culprit for high RAM usage is Rank Math. I have currently rolled back all my updated sites so we are currently a version behind and I’d like this to be a temporary thing.

    Is this fixable and how can we fix this? Please don’t make me go back to Yoast 🙂

    Can you please share the steps to reproduce the issue? Also, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    After deactivating the latest update from you my RAM has dropped to around 300MB of 2GB. When it updated to the latest version it went to 1.8GB. Please note that this was only for one site, as the others had not updated at that time.

    Hello,

    Thank you for providing admin access.

    I checked all the settings on your site and also viewed pages on the frontend. They all seemed to be working fine. I even checked your site with the Query Monitor plugin to see if there are any slow queries which could increase the CPU usage. But I couldn’t find any.

    Is there any page or functionality or page which is not working when Rank Math is active?

    Hi,

    I changed some of the pre-defined meta for SEO and updated the plugin to the latest version. This seems to have reduced the RAM usage now only using 200-300Mb which is great. Please can you check all these are correct for me, adjust where necessary.

    Once you’ve checked the setting, I can roll out the rest of my sites and see if the issue has been resolved.

    I have been monitoring the RAM for a few days after updating al my sites and the memory spikes seemed to have settled down.
