Hello,
We have followed these steps shared by my colleague on your site and have equally added the filter code to disable the sitemap transient cache using the Code Snippets plugin on your site.
Please try removing all the sitemaps from your Google Search Console and submit the primary sitemap again:
sitemap_index.xml
. Then check if Google is still discovering those 404s.If you are still seeing the HTTP error, please try submitting this instead:
https://hrohsconsultants.com/?sitemap=1
Let us know how this goes. Also, let us know if you have further questions or concerns.
Thank you.

Thank you,
ZanzyThese 2 links below are coming from “LearnPress” Plugin that I removed from my website. I do not know how google knows this, but these two links are giving 404 messages. How can I resolve this?
Problem Link 3: Please see the screenshot from google console
PLEASE CAN YOU HELP WITH THIS?
Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
You should wait for Google to crawl your sitemap URL and the “Last Read” column should be updated as well after submitting your sitemaps.
Regarding the 404, you should use the URL inspection tool of your GSC account to check those URLs and view their referring page where are they coming from.
Once you know their referring page, you can unlink or remove it so Google won’t discover it.
Also, since they are non-existing on your site and return a 404, then it won’t affect your site. You should only fix the URLs that should be opening fine but included in the 404 report.
Hope that helps.
Hi Reinelle,
If I give you access to my google Console and wordpress dashboard, can you do this for me? I cannot find the page to unlink.Thank you,
Zanzy PolycarpHello,
If Google is showing a 404 error for the URLs, it means that they must have discovered those links when they were present on the site. Since you have removed those links, it is normal for Google to show the 404 error, as they crawl the discovered URLs again, even if you have removed them from the site.
Google will stop crawling them once they realize that the URLs will not be live. You can also set a 410 redirection for those URLs in our plugin’s redirections module to inform Google that the URLs have been permanently deleted.
Sorry, but our scope of support doesn’t extend to accessing your Google account and finding and removing the internal links from the site. If you are concerned that Google found those URLs after you removed them, the you can use the URL inspection tool and see the referring page in the result. If the links are present on the referring page, you can remove them to make sure Google doesn’t find the URLs again.
Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
