Rank Math is not detecting pictures

    Hello, I work with Genesis Electric and I am trying to improve the SEO score on our webpages. It is telling me that in order to improve my score I should add pictures and videos. I have done this already, but it will not change my score. Could you help me figure out why the pictures are not registering please?

    Are you using a page builder for your site? Also, are you using any shortcodes to add the images/videos to your content?

    Thanks for your reply- we are using elementor to build our site and are not using shortcode to add the images/videos. There are many urls that seem not to be working, but I’ll send one in the sensitive data area.

    Hello,

    Thank you for that information.

    I’ve checked your site, and it seems that the image you are referring to was added as a background image. Rank Math will only check and recognize images/videos that were added directly to the content. To pass this test, you may need to add it as an image, not a background image overlay to your content.

    However, please note that these tests are only there for your reference to help you in optimizing your pages/post content. If you feel any of them doesn’t apply to your page, please feel free to ignore them.
