Rank math is marking category pages as Noindex without my permission.

    The new categories i’m creating are facing this issue too. I checked in settings ‘no index’ is checked, ‘index’ option is.

    The issue is finally fixed. All i had to do was remove Rankmath and add Yoast. Yoast is not adding noindex tags on every new category that i create like Rabkmath was doing.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

    This is an expected behavior from our plugin. By default, our plugin will not set your empty category pages to index to avoid soft 404 from Google or any search engines which is why No index is always selected.

    If you wish to forcibly mark empty categories as index, head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Global Meta and disable the option “Noindex Empty Category and Tag Archives”. See the screenshot below for your reference:
