Hello, we’re sorry to hear that you’re facing issues with your site crashing due to Rank Math. It sounds like there may be a conflict with the code being added to your index.php file, which is causing instability on your site.
Unfortunately, we cannot directly analyze external links or specific code snippets from sources like Pastebin. However, this issue could be related to a conflict with another plugin or theme that is not compatible with Rank Math, or it might be due to a bug in the current version of the plugin.
To troubleshoot this issue, we recommend the following steps:
- Check for Plugin Conflicts: Disable all other plugins except for Rank Math and see if the issue persists. If it resolves, enable the plugins one by one to identify the conflicting plugin.
- Theme Conflict: Switch to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-One) to see if the issue is related to your current theme.
- Update Rank Math: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Rank Math, as updates often include bug fixes and improvements.
- Clear Cache: If you have any caching plugins or server-side caching, clear all caches after making changes.
- Review Error Logs: Check your server’s error logs for any messages that might indicate what is going wrong when Rank Math is activated.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket with more details about your setup, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention!
Hello,
It seems that you already marked this ticket as “Resolved”.
Do you still need our assistance regarding this issue?
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
I marked it as resolved because my host server identified a virus and it is using SITEMAP to index Japanese content on Google. They helped me remove it, but the guys are still able to access my data. And now I’m going to choose to delete my site. And it all started when I clicked on the published post editor to submit index and after that, everything got messed up. But since I’ve seen and read a lot, the best thing will be to delete my site once and for all and not worry about it anymore. I’m going to start from scratch again, but of course, without using Rank Math, because the virus problem only started after I clicked submit index. But in any case, thanks for your concern.
Okay, the hosting company thought it best to keep my entire cpanel. I lost my website. And I will never use your plugins again. Disappointing.
Hello,
We are sorry to hear about the experience you faced but please note that the Japanese keyword hack is a famous malware attack and Rank Math is not related to this. You can check this URL for more details on this attack: https://web.dev/articles/fix-the-japanese-keyword-hack
However, we strictly follow the security of our plugin and get the plugin audited by 3rd party security firms every 3 months. To learn more about Rank Math security, you can check this URL: https://rankmath.com/kb/is-rank-math-safe-to-use/
Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
