    Dear Rank Math Support,

I’m writing to confirm the successful connection of my website to Google Search Console after recently migrating from the Yoast SEO plugin to Rank Math.

Previously, I was using Yoast SEO and had configured my sitemaps and verified my site with Google Search Console through that plugin. Since switching to Rank Math, I have re-connected my Google Search Console account within the Rank Math settings.

    Could you please confirm if:

My website is now successfully connected and authenticated with Google Search Console via Rank Math?

The sitemaps generated by Rank Math are correctly submitted and being crawled by Google? (Are there any conflicts or legacy issues from the Yoast sitemaps?)

All previously indexed content and settings from my Google Search Console property have seamlessly transitioned with the Rank Math integration, or if any further action is required on my part?

I want to ensure a smooth transition and that my site’s SEO performance remains unaffected. Any guidance or confirmation you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

    Sincerely,

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing. Thank you for raising your concerns regarding the connection of your website to Google Search Console (GSC) after migrating from Yoast SEO to Rank Math.

To confirm your connection and ensure everything is set up correctly, please follow these steps:

    1. Check Connection: Go to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics. Here, you should see your website listed under the Site drop-down list in the Search Console section. If your site is listed, it indicates a successful connection.
      Search Console

    2. Sitemap Submission: Rank Math automatically submits your sitemap to Google Search Console if you have connected your Google account properly. You can verify this by checking the Sitemaps section in GSC to see if the sitemaps generated by Rank Math are being crawled. If you want to manually check or submit your sitemap, you can refer to our guide on submitting a sitemap to Google.

    3. Legacy Issues: Since you have migrated from Yoast, it’s important to ensure that there are no conflicts with the previous sitemaps. We recommend checking the Sitemaps section in GSC for any errors or issues related to the old sitemaps. If you encounter any problems, you may need to remove the old sitemaps from GSC.

    4. Indexed Content: All previously indexed content should remain intact as long as the URLs have not changed. However, it’s a good practice to monitor your GSC for any indexing issues or warnings that may arise after the transition.

If you have any specific technical issues or need further assistance, please reply to this ticket with your website URL, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope this helps ensure a smooth transition for your site’s SEO performance!
