  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with Rank Math showing zero data while Google Site Kit displays a lot of information. This discrepancy can occur due to several reasons, often related to configuration settings between the two plugins.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Google Analytics Property: Ensure that you are using the correct Google Analytics property (Universal or GA4) in Rank Math. If you haven’t connected the right version, it may lead to zero data in Rank Math.

    2. Install Analytics Code: Make sure that the Google Analytics code is properly installed on your website. You can enable the Install analytics code option in Rank Math if you haven’t done so already.

    3. Configuration Issues: Sometimes, incorrect configurations in Rank Math or Google Analytics can lead to data discrepancies. You may want to review your settings in both plugins to ensure they are correctly set up.

    4. Plugin Conflicts: If you are using both Rank Math and Google Site Kit, there might be conflicts due to overlapping features. It’s generally recommended to use only one SEO plugin to avoid such issues.

If you continue to experience problems, please reply to this ticket with any additional details or screenshots of your settings, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.

Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please follow the steps below to fetch updated data from Google:

    1. Head over to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Tools & Status > Database Tools and click the Rebuild Index button. This is the first process before you will update the data manually.

Ensure that you have enabled advanced mode to see the Database Tools tab.

    2. After that, head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics tab, click the Delete Data button and then click the Update Data Manually

    3. This will start the new data fetch from Google. You can reload the page to see the notice related to the import process.

    4. Once the process is complete. Please re-check the Analytics page and all the data should be showing up correctly.

Following the above steps should fix the issue.

You can refer to this guide for reference: https://rankmath.com/kb/zero-search-traffic-error/

However, if it does not, please check if there is a pending Scheduled Action by heading over to WordPress dashboard > Tools > Scheduled Actions > Pending or you can try visiting the following URL:

    https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=action-scheduler&status=pending

Then Run the rank_math/analytics/data_fetch scheduled action and wait for the data fetch to complete.

This is how it should look like:

Once done, please allow Rank Math a while to fetch data from Google, and you should be able to see the updated data.

You might see other actions that are scheduled to RUN as well; it is quite normal, and you don’t have to worry.

Let us know how that goes.

    Thank you.

    Issue still persists. : (

    Hello,

In this case, please follow the steps below to create a troubleshooting log so that we can check the issue further:

    Step #1.
First, add the following filter to your website:

    add_filter( 'rank_math/analytics/log_response', '__return_true' );

Here is a guide you can follow to add the filter:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

    Step #2.
After adding the filter, please run the pending Scheduled Action from your WordPress Dashboard > Tools > Scheduled Actions > Pending

    Step #3.
When some actions have completed running, please check the Analytics log under /wp-content/uploads/rank-math and share that with us.

You can use a tool like Dropbox/Pastebin for debug log files and share the generated links here.

    Looking forward to helping you.

I did the steps of clearing but still no data in Rank Math. Google site kit has data.

Is it true I have to have pro for analytics to show in the Word Press dashboard?

    Hello,

No, although if you wish to have full analytical insights, you do. The Free version still allows you to connect to your Google Analytics, but advanced tracking stats are only for PRO.

The free version of Rank Math can connect to your Google Search Console and display essential data such as clicks, impressions, and keyword positions. However, the PRO version unlocks advanced analytics, including daily data updates, Google Analytics integration, AI search traffic insights, Rank Tracker, Index Status, and detailed post and keyword-level reports.

You can explore more about these advanced features here: https://rankmath.com/kb/analytics/

Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.
