  • Hello,

We logged into your website and edited the SEO Title and saved the page and it saved properly without any issues.

If you need help with anything else, please don’t hesitate to reach out again

I do not want to push or rush, but do you have an idea of when it can be sorted? So I can plan the rest of my work around it? If not, that is fine too of course, but I thought I would ask. Kind regards
    Judith

    Hello,

It seems like you missed our latest reply to this ticket where we shared that the title is working as expected when it contains the exact match to the focus keyword.

You can see the reply here: https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/rank-math-does-not-see-seo-title-in-snippet-and-gives-error/page/2/?view=all#post-901030

    Thank you.

I did, thank you very much. I still don’t understand what is the SEO title that was changed, I tried all possible combinations. Would you mind letting me know, please? Thank you so much for your help.

And sorry that I missed it.

    Kind regards
    Judith

    Hello,

You can learn what those are and how to change them on your pages here: https://rankmath.com/kb/seo-meta-tags/

For the test you initially referenced in this ticket to pass there needs to be an exact match of the focus keyword in the SEO title.

Please refer to the screenshot we shared previously and you’ll see that the SEO title has some bold words, which correlate to the ones used in the focus keyword, to indicate it’s being detected there.

    Thank you.

Thank you, I do think I understand what an SEO title is. And I did match the exact words, but apparently not in all the locations needed. I have seen the screenshot, and after I changed it, nothing improved. So I am just curious about the locations I would need to change it, since I think I did them all, I will run into this problem again, unless I understand which location I missed.

Thank you very much for your help.

    Hello Judith,

To ensure Rank Math detects the focus keyword correctly in the SEO title, please make sure it appears exactly as specified in both the SEO Title and the Post Title (or page title in the WordPress editor). Sometimes, even slight variations can cause detection issues.

If you’d like, feel free to share a video screencast from your end showing the process you made so we can advice further. You may use this handy tool to record a screencast from your end: https://loom.com/

    Looking forward to helping you.
