Rank Math causing 503 error

    Hi there,

    Over the last week or so, my website has been causing several random 503 timeouts.

    My developing team has been digging into it and they found out that Rank Math is using a lot and thereby maxing out the system resource available for my website and thus making it unable to respond quickly to requests.

    I could send you some screenshots where you can see Rank Math transactions.

    I wanted to ask: what is your opinion about this? Is this something that has been happening to other users as well?

    The reason I moved to Rank Math from Yoast was that yours was supposedly a much lighter plugin but doesn’t seem the case anymore.

    However, before switching back to Yoast, I wanted to know your opinion about it.

    I cannot say that this is something that we have come across before since each hosting environment is different. Could you please send over the screenshots along with a pastebin dump from Rank Math > Status & Tools > System Status > System Info so that we can advise further?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    1). The first screenshot suggests that the Rank Math query to fetch search console data is a bit slow on your site. Is it an option to disable the search console module via Rank Math > Dashboard?

    2). You can also disable error reporting in the plugin to prevent the connection to api.rollbar.com by heading over to Rank Math > General Settings > Others > Usage Tracking
