Your robots.txt file is managed by Rank Math and currently it does not have any definitions that would be blocking Google. I have also checked your homepage and several of your other pages and they have been set to index.
I would suggest that you go ahead and check via FTP whether the root of your website has another robots.txt file and delete it.
Please clear your cache and check if the issue can still be reproduced.

Yes this is completely normal, please delete the current sitemap, clear your cache and then resubmit a new sitemap.

What do you mean by delete current sitemap do you mean from within the file system of the hosting package ?

okay i have now removed it in google search console
i have then gone and requested indexing of the home page
do i need to re submit the site map ?

Yes, please re-submit the sitemap.
Also, please share a few examples of the URLs that are showing up as no-indexed so we can check.
