    I have recently started using the ThirstyAffiliate plugin to better protect my affiliate ID data. When I was going back through some of my previous posts and changing affiliate links to the cloaked URL ThirstyAffiliate provides I noticed that the ranking now states I have no outbound links found.

    I clearly have an outbound link pointing to my affiliate product, however, the cloak address uses a local redirect URL for security reasons

    Is there any way around this so as to still Rank highly?

    Thank you for getting in touch with us.

    You can ignore what Rank Math says.

    Since you are technically adding links to your own domain – Rank Math is seeing them as internal links. We do not check for the validity of links you add so we do not check if they are pointing to your website, a 404, or a 301. To Rank Math, any link with your own domain in it is considered an internal link.

    As we mentioned, you can ignore this test.
