Rank Math analytic notification

#1100017
  • Th rank math analytic shows: “There was an issue scheduling the recurring action required for Analytics; if the problem persists, please contact our support team.”
However, I went to check the scheduled actions of pending actions, and I enable “run” for rank_math/analytic/data_fetch, but nothing happened.
After all, my question is what does this notification means and what should I do with it? It is going to affect the data analysis of my website?

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the Rank Math analytics notification. This message indicates that there is a problem with the scheduled actions that Rank Math uses to fetch analytics data. When these actions do not run as expected, it can lead to incomplete or missing data in your analytics reports.

Since you’ve already checked the scheduled actions and attempted to run the rank_math/analytics/data_fetch action manually without success, here are a few steps you can take:

    1. Check WP-Cron Status: Ensure that your WP-Cron is functioning properly. If your website has low traffic, WP-Cron may not trigger as expected. You might consider configuring a Server Cron to trigger WP-Cron if this is the case. You can find more information on how to do this here.

    2. Run Scheduled Actions Manually: You can continue to check the status of scheduled actions under WordPress Dashboard → Tools → Scheduled Actions → Pending and try running any pending actions related to Rank Math analytics manually.

    3. Check for Traffic: If you have set up country-specific data, ensure that you have organic visitors from those countries, as this can also affect the data displayed.

    4. Create an Analytics Debug Log: If the issue persists, you can create an Analytics debug log file by adding the following filter to your theme’s rank-math.php file:

      add_filter( 'rank_math/analytics/log_response', '__return_true' );

After adding this filter, run the pending scheduled actions again and then share the debug log with us for further examination.

    5. Consider Professional Setup: If you’re still having trouble, we recommend considering our professional setup service to ensure everything is configured correctly. You can find more information about this service here.

This notification can affect your data analysis if the scheduled actions do not run properly, as it may lead to missing or outdated analytics data.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope these steps help resolve the issue! If you have any further questions or need assistance, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent will assist you further.

I run the data fetch manually, nothing changed.

    Hello,

Please note that Rank Math’s Analytics feature relies on scheduled actions, so you need to make sure that you have WP-Cron running on your site.

In this case, please follow this guide:

You may also need to get in touch with your web host for assistance to fix it for you.

    Looking forward to helping you.

Hi Reinelle, thanks for your assistance. I have activated the plugin – WP Control to my site, and I checked the cron events, however my rank math seo still notified me “There was an issue scheduling the recurring action required for Analytics; if the problem persists, please contact our support team.”
