#1093696
  • I had to disable slack sharing on all my websites as your css was breaking web pages. Mostly not liking my custom elementor widgets.

    I hope you fix it and let people know you fixed it. It was obviously not properly tested before being released.

    now running ver 1.0.252 with slack sharing disabled on all my customer wewbsites.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

    We’ve released a small update (v1.0.252.1) where the issue has been fixed.

    If you are unable to see an update, please clear Rank Math’s transients from WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Remove Rank Math Transients: https://rankmath.com/kb/rank-math-status-and-tools/#rank-math-transients

    Please clear the caches, server, and WordPress after updating.

    Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    I added this code to add security to my custom widget and it blocks your app making my cutom widget perform perfectly.

    if ( ! defined( ‘ABSPATH’ ) ) {
    exit;
    }

    I still don’t like that Rank Math breaks my custom widget when the slack integration option is turned on.

    I don’t see how it would benefit my client unless they were using Slack. Is there a benefit?

    Hello,

    Thank you for sharing the details. The issue with the Slack integration has already been addressed in our latest update, so there’s no need to add additional security code for Rank Math.

    The Slack integration is an optional feature meant for users who want to share content directly to Slack. If you or your clients don’t use Slack, you can safely keep it disabled without any drawbacks.

    Please update to the latest version and let us know if everything works as expected.
