Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing regarding the visibility of Google integrations in Rank Math. Currently, Rank Math does not provide a built-in feature to restrict the visibility or editability of Google integrations for individual users. When clients are given admin access, they can see and potentially manage the Google integrations linked to their sites.
As a workaround, you might consider the following options:
- Create Separate User Roles: Instead of giving full admin access to your clients, you could create custom user roles with limited permissions that do not include access to the Rank Math settings. This way, they can still manage their content without accessing the Google integrations.
- Use a Staging Environment: If possible, manage the Google integrations in a staging environment where you can control access more tightly before pushing changes to the live site.
- Educate Clients: If you choose to keep them as admins, educating your clients about the importance of not changing those settings might help mitigate any potential issues.
Thank you for raising this concern! If you have further questions or need assistance with anything else, please feel free to reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

How to Connect Your Google Account With Rank Math SEO » Rank Math
Thank you for your response. I appreciate the suggestions provided. However, I would like to ask if this limitation also applies to the Premium version of Rank Math. Specifically, does the Premium version allow me, as a web designer, to manage Google integrations for my clients without them being able to see or access the integrations of other clients or domains linked to my Google account?
It seems quite surprising that there isn’t a way to set this up securely, as managing integrations on behalf of clients is a common scenario for web designers. Could you clarify if the Premium version offers any advanced user permission features or solutions for this issue?
Hello,
That is a limitation on Google because they don’t allow to set permissions on a per-site basis, but they need to be on an account basis, so if you have multiple properties associated with the same Google account the permission will apply to all of them, and will show on Rank Math.
If the option to apply only to a particular account/website was available we would have implemented the system.
For now, you can use separate Google accounts for different websites.
Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for your response and clarification regarding the current limitations with Google integrations and account permissions.
Given that the current structure ties integrations to the connected Google account and all linked properties are visible, I was wondering if Rank Math has considered implementing alternative solutions to address this for web designers and agencies? For example:
User-Based Permissions:
Allowing only the user who created the connection to view and manage it, while other admins can unlink it but not view or modify the original settings.
One-Time Connection Lock:
Once a Google account is connected, the connection and its settings become locked and hidden for security, with the ability to unlink or reconnect only through a new Google login.
Both ideas would help improve the usability for agencies managing multiple clients, reduce unnecessary visibility, and maintain a higher standard of data privacy.
Have these or similar approaches been considered as potential future features?
Hello,
Thank you for your detailed feedback and thoughtful suggestions.
At the moment, Rank Math does not offer user-based permissions or one-time connection locks for Google integrations, but we completely understand the need for such features, especially for web designers and agencies managing multiple clients.
Your ideas are valuable, and we have forwarded them to our development team as potential improvements for future updates. While we cannot provide an exact timeline, we are always working to enhance Rank Math to better serve our users’ needs.
For now, using separate Google accounts for different clients remains the best workaround to maintain privacy and control.
If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out. We appreciate your patience and valuable input.
Thank you.
